Gal Gadot Finally Opens Up About The Backlash On Her ‘Imagine’ Video

Remember the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic when Gal Gadot gathered a group of Hollywood stars to cover John Lennon’s track Imagine? Well, she is now speaking up about it seven months on.
Gadot released the video featuring celebrities, including Zoë Kravitz, Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, Mark Ruffalo, and Maya Rudolph, to spread positivity amid the virus outbreak.
However, many internet users began criticizing the clip for being “tone-deaf.” Podcast host Joe Rogan even described the participants as “f**king idiots” for taking part in a singalong while “everyone’s granny is dying.”
Now, the Wonder Woman star has finally opened up about the backlash. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress stated that she “had nothing but good intentions” with the video.
“Sometimes, you know, you try and do a good deed, and it’s just not the right good deed,” she said.
