As part of its ongoing sustainability efforts, Starbucks has released a reusable version of its iconic holiday cups for the festive season.

The holiday coffee cup, which features its famous logo, has a heat-sensitive technology that changes the bottle’s appearance from green to warm red when a hot liquid is poured into it.

The color of the cup will continue to turn bright red, as long as your drink is in it, allowing you to track how much of it is left inside without removing the lips. Once you’re done, or your beverage turns cold, the cup will turn back to green.

The color-changing resuable cup is part of the company’s effort to reduce waste and increase reusability. The design of cup reflects the company’s Christmas theme this year, which is Carry the Merry.

The drinkware is available to purchase across Starbucks stores in the UK, with prices starting from £2.50 (US$3.31).

Everyone is hyped about the Starbucks free red cup today that they didn’t realize a color changing hot cup dropped 🤭 🏃‍♀️ #RUN #yourwelcome #Starbucks pic.twitter.com/2gYAKBQRDx
