Bernie Sanders’ unforgettable getup at president Joe Biden’s inauguration last Wednesday took the internet by storm that it immediately turned into a meme.
A photo of the masked senator sitting in his chair in his brown coat and decorative mittens went viral online. Now, the politician is making the most out of the situation.
Sanders’ campaign website began offering sweatshirts featuring the senator in his inauguration day pose for US$45. The website states that the unisex sweatshirt is 100-percent combed ring-spun, made of organic cottonfleece, and produced in the USA.
Sales from the sweatshirt will go towards Meals on Wheels Vermont, which delivers hot meals to people with chronic conditions or disabilities.
