KFC Plays Coy With Sneaky Chicken Sandwich Billboards Near Rivals’ Locations

The fast-food wars aren’t just about prices. Chains are battering each other up over who makes the best chicken sandwiches, and it seems that KFC is so confident over its own that the other restaurants are invisible.

On Tuesday, the fried chicken giant took to Twitter with photos of new billboards for its sandwiches, reading, “We make the chicken sandwiches around here.” What’s noteworthy is that the advertisements are installed near outlets of Burger King, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s, and standing even taller than them.

Acting coy about the placements, KFC tweeted, “We thought it was just a random street corner.”

What a way to show the rest that they’re irrelevant.
