Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Louis Vuitton, is famed for his quirky and out-of-the-box designs. Earlier this year, the brand debuted an airplane-themed bag, which cost more than an actual aircraft.

Now, Louis Vuitton insider DLV has leaked an accessory expected to debut this summer – and it’s definitely a novel idea.

The Eraser Necklace features Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram motif its holder, with a functional white top eraser peeking out the top. The unique pendant is then strung to a silver link-rope chain, with an additional LV charm.

The rumored necklace is slated to retail for US$810, which is a hefty chunk to pay for something reminiscent of a middle-school eraser. It’s scheduled to hit stores in July, though we’re not quite sure who’ll be shelling out for… an eraser.
