BBC’s Developer Portal Features A Stock Image Anyone Can Actually Edit

It’s always a joy when companies sprinkle Easter eggs on their websites. If you enjoy these tidbits too, this one from the BBC Developer Portal will make you chuckle.
At first glance, not much thought seems to have been invested in this password-protected website for employees, but Andrew Taylor—who apparently worked on the portal—reveals that “the pretend code on the laptop screen in the stock photo… is user-editable.”
There’s no need to inspect an element or open the page’s source code at all. Just click on the laptop screen and type away.
With that being said, Taylor says he deliberately kept the area as a text box “instead of a content-editable div” to weed out jokers who might “[paste] p*rn in there and [screenshot] it.” You’ll notice that the area is also blurred to ensure this doesn’t happen.
