Microsoft Made Windows 11’s Start Menu Unusable After Crashing It With An Ad

Less is more, claimed Microsoft when it revealed the new Windows 11. But it also added advertisements to the OS.
According to How-To Geek, users running Windows 11, which is still on beta, had their Start Menus and Taskbars crash after the company sent out a notification promoting Microsoft Teams.

Teamwork makes the dream work, but it’s useless for your taskbar.
The advertisement crashed the desktop shell, making two vital features of Windows—and the gateways to all functionalities—inaccessible.
Microsoft has since shared a fix for affected users to troubleshoot their OS. If you’re one of them you can copy the script from here to run the command.
