KFC Dresses Up Its Buckets For The Holidays And Even Gives Them A Sweater

KFC made a Princess Diana-inspired holiday sweater for the people, and it’s now giving its own buckets that same tender-lovin’ care.
First things first, the KFC bucket—as it is in its birthday suit—has been adorned with festive illustrations in keeping with the chain’s yearly holiday bucket affair. The 2021 edition showcases a ‘Winter Chickenland’ of people on mashed-potato snow and drumsticks hanging from bright trees.

But what are year-end festivities without ugly sweaters? This year, KFC buckets get their own knitted outerwear in the form of the Finger Lickin’ Chicken Mitten Bucket Hugger, which is just as useful for the packaging as it is for eaters.

The sweater not only keeps the chicken from getting cold, but its “sleeves” are built-in mittens that you can slip your hands into to securely carry the bucket around.
Customers who order a KFC bucket meal online—via the website or app—till November 11 will receive a notification to redeem the Mitten Bucket Hugger, while supplies last. The sweater will be an online exclusive, and won’t be available in physical stores.
