Apple Brings Three Dozen New Emojis To iOS 15.4

Memoji doubles are great, but most texting circumstances just require a peppering of good ol’ classic emojis. Thankfully, 37 new designs are coming your way with the rollout of iOS 15.4 next week, announced by Apple at its Peek Performance keynote (where the powerful Mac Studio and Mac Ultra chip made their debut too).

Joining the lineup are emojis like Melting Face, Biting Lip, Face Holding Back Tears, Dotted Line Face, and Heart Hands, enabling users to get more expressive with their texts.

Others include Beans, Bubbles, Coral, Playground Slide, Crutch, and Identification Card.

iOS 15.4 will also introduce a selection of new diverse emojis like Pregnant Man and the nonbinary Pregnant Person, along with Person with Crown. Handshakes are getting more inclusive too, with multi-racial variations entering the mix.

With the launch of iOS 15.4, users will also enjoy the ability to trigger Face ID while wearing a mask, as well as engage a new gender-neutral Siri voice.
