‘Stranger Things’ Café Transports The Town Of Hawkins To Tokyo

This strange café in Tokyo will have you wondering if you’ve stepped into the mystical town of Hawkins or if you’re still in the metropolis. Pronto, an Italian-style café in Japan, has converted its Shibuya Fukuras in celebration of the latest installment of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, and will emit its eerie glow to fans from July 6 to September 9.

Stranger Pronto invites you to step into the Upside Down as the café has recreated the sets from the show, from the Byers’ iconic Christmas lights wall to the Surfer Boy Pizza van and even to (spoiler alert!) the fiery road leading into Hawkins.   

A trick-eye art installation of the Demogorgon will watch over you as you eat Eleven’s first burger or slurp down Nancy’s Halloween mocktail.

Other items on the menu include Eleven’s favorite waffles and even a Scoops Ahoy ice cream parlor.   

The Stranger Things café opens just as another famous franchise apparates in Tokyo, the Harry Potter café, which was brought to fans by Warner Brothers Entertainment.   

So, if you have ever wanted to visit Hawkins but find yourself stuck in Tokyo, here’s your chance. Though, if you visit, you should be warned of spoilers from the show if you have yet to finish watching it.
