If you’ve ever thought, “I need to find more pleasure in my walks,” it truly can’t get any better than a sneaker made from products designed for your pleasure.

For its first-ever sneaker, clothing label Rose In Good Faith turned to an unusual bedfellow: not an expert in shoemaking, but Doc Johnson, a dildo company. Called ‘Plastic Soul’, the slip-on foam footwear is sustainable and ergonomic, and it has been likened by the brand to YEEZY Foam Runners but with arch support.

Doc Johnson has some defective adult toys lying around, leading unfulfilled sex lives because they didn’t pass quality-assurance checks. The collaboration, two years in the making, injects some vigor back into the unused toys so they can satisfy in other areas. Meanwhile, the upcycling of materials ensures humans “stop f**king Mother Nature.”

The sculptural shoe, which is water-resistant, takes foremost inspiration from architecture; in particular, the porous honeycomb-like façade of The Broad in Los Angeles. The dildos that go into it are put through a complex recycling process that grounds them into tiny thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) cubes. Then, they’re mixed with non-bleach Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foam before being injection molded into their shapely form, according to Paper Magazine.

Feeling good for a long time is guaranteed as the Plastic Soul sneaker features a raised arch for all-day support and comfort, along with organic cotton lining and a natural cork insole that adapts to the shape of your foot and contains antimicrobial properties. And fret not, as Rose In Good Faith reassures that the slip-ons “smell like brand new shoes.”

The brand says the shoes are the walking embodiment of “sustainability, sexual freedom, and purpose,” and they take to the streets to normalize sexual health and wellness.
