Kanye West recently went on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and talked about several topics, from the rapper’s presidential campaign to his latest adidas YEEZY Foam Runner.

As West wore the YEEZY Foam Runner to the show, it eventually became a taking point during the almost three-hour episode.

The 43-year-old revealed that he would price the highly-coveted footwear for only US$20. “So for me, I’m gonna make this shoe be US$20,” West said. “Money isn’t real, so the world should eventually be free.”

West also expressed his feelings towards hype culture and how YEEZY is a part of it. The musician acknowledged that his brand is tied to the resell market but he isn’t exactly happy with it. “I don’t love the idea that [one] of the reasons why people buy [YEEZYs] is just for hype culture,” West told Rogan.
