While it may be hard to classify oneself as a fan of a convenience store, 7-Eleven begs to differ.
Turning its branding into fashion status symbols like McDonald’s, KFC, and Coca-Cola, 7-Eleven aspires to be a store and more by launching an online merchandise shop with vintage elements emblazoned on T-shirts and hoodies.
The line, called7Collection, is a series of apparel and accessories that have taken inspiration from some of the brands’ most iconic items, including its Big Gulp and Slurpee.
7-Eleven has stated that this new breach into the merchandise world is an effort on the brand’s behalf to be seen as “more than just a convenience store.” It would seem thatoffering half price on some drinks and snacks or a coupon system no longer cuts it.
