De Beers Debuts Its First Gender-Neutral Jewelry, Making Diamonds Everyone’s BFF

Following in the footsteps of high-fashion jewelry brand Tiffany & Co, famed diamond firm De Beers is putting a ring on gender-neutral jewelry with its first unisex line.

Dubbed RVL, the launch includes three rings, two pendants, and two bracelets that everyone can enjoy, and can be worn either on their own or  by mixing them into a stack. 

Four of the seven pieces boast an 18-karat gold make, with pave-set diamonds for the extra sparkle; while the other three feature black titanium and contrasting 18-karat rose gold. 

The collection centers around the brand’s ‘D’ and ‘B’ monogram, which is imprinted in the metal of each piece to form lines resembling a code, which also looks like a gear when viewed from the side. 

Interestingly, the black titanium styles include a hidden diamond next to the concealed letters embedded in the piece, and no one will be the wiser until you finally decide to reveal it. 

“The beauty of this collection is that there is no prescription about who should wear these pieces or how they should be styled; it is entirely up to the wearer,” says Céline Assimon, CEO of De Beers Jewellers.
