Tiffany & Co Debuts Its First Gender-Neutral Jewelry—‘No Rules, All Welcome’

Despite the brand’s 185-year-old history, Tiffany & Co’s stance on inclusivity isn’t dated. Just last year, the jeweller debuted its first men’s engagement rings, named after its eponymous founder Charles Lewis Tiffany.
Now, the company is yet again making strides, having just introduced its first all-gender collection: the Tiffany Lock.
Centered on an ethos of “no rules, all welcome,” the brand highlights the latest launch is “for everyone” and “embodies the personal bonds that bring us together and make us who we are.”
Drawing inspiration from the idea of the padlock, an iconic motif used throughout Tiffany & Co’s storied history, the bracelet incorporates an “innovative swiveling mechanisms” that marries function with style.
In fact, the clasp is so unique, it took the company’s artisans over a year to develop. And there’s no doubt the overall look of the collection was designed with Gen Z in mind, featuring a streamlined, understated bangle in yellow, white, or rose gold.
Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany & Co’s Executive Vice President of Product and Communication, told Vogue that the bracelet symbolizes “unity, belonging,” and the universal, eternal bond “that ties us together.”
The collection is now available for purchase online, and will be rolled out in stores globally this September. Prices range from US$6,800 to US$32,000, with more designs scheduled to be released early next year.
