Google Makes Exes & Photobombs Disappear In Ad Boasting Pixel’s Pro Camera Tools

Ever wish you could erase that one ex-boyfriend out of lovely vacation pictures, or sharpen the blurred-out dog in the background? Well, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro’s Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur can do just that, and Google is showing these features off for the Super Bowl.

In a new spot featuring A-listers Doja Cat, Amy Schumer, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the technology giant showcases fun and quirky ways its imaging applications can be used to turn everyday photographs into higher-quality keepsakes.

As noted by Fast Company, Google chose to continue with an advertisement similar to the one it shot last year—a creative product demonstration reel of the Real Tone tool that received recognition from industry experts.

This year’s ‘Fixed On Pixel’ allows viewers to get a glimpse of the Pixel’s updated functions in an engaging manner, showing off the best and brightest Google has to offer. A strategy that’s no doubt a better draw than any manual book or lengthy FAQ page.
