Do you consider sandwiches to be the perfect food group? Then, be prepared to have your diet needs met for life, courtesy of Subway. All it asks is a tiny sacrifice: your identity.
The sandwich chain has recently reinvented itself and converted its entire menu to include meats that are freshly sliced on the spot, in addition to rolling out a new selection called the Deli Heroes.
Since launching the Deli Hero subs a couple of weeks ago, Subway says it has served two million of them, which tells it how much customers love this stuff. The new Deli Heroes come with double cheese and are all served on Subway’s freshly baked Artisan Italian bread.
The company is now putting eaters’ loyalties to the test, and it’s looking to feed a true fan free Deli Heroes for life should they commit to changing their first name to “Subway.” After all, if you like it, then you shoulda change your name around it.

From August 1 to 4, fans willing to undergo a legally-recognized rebrand, in exchange for a nonstop spawn of sandwiches, can visit SubwayNameChange.com to find out how they can enter this challenge.
Subway will choose just one person to be all set on subs for good while they take on their new identity. For their efforts, the brand will also reimburse this customer with the legal and processing fees for the name change, “making it easy and effortless to become Subway and enjoy a lifetime of delicious subs,” it says.

The company has been grilling diehard fans to prove their dedication. A year ago, it dared customers to tattoo its logo onto their skin to score free food for life, and nine people stepped up to the challenge.
Before you make the switch, make sure you’re actually serious about it and that your love for sandwiches is unconditional. A similar promotional campaign run by a sushi restaurant in Taiwan saw fans legally change their names to “Salmon,” and some have come to regret it.
