Saint Laurent’s Plain Tank Top Comes With An Opulent Price Tag

When it comes to high-end fashion, sometimes it’s better not to question certain decisions and just let it be, as is the case of a new wave of tank tops from various fashion labels that all seem priced at the same amount as a pair of headphones.

And unlike a functional gadget, all these luxury pieces will get you is a premium addition to your basics collection and some street cred in fashion circles for splurging on a plain top.

With Saint Laurent, its version of the classic undershirt, the Cassandre, comes in an organic cotton shirt in an off-white color with a small ‘YSL’ logo stitched onto the front. The brand describes it as a “semi-sheer” ribbed tank, so you still might not get full coverage despite its price tag.

And, speaking of its price, what exactly does it cost? US$550. You could probably pick up a new smartwatch for the same amount and then head over to Walmart to get a tank top if needed.
