Lamborghini Teases Its First 100% Electric Supercar Ahead Of Grand Reveal
In recent months, many high-end automakers have joined in on the electric vehicle bandwagon, from Rolls-Royce announcing its first battery-powered launch to BMW’s eco-friendly version of its ‘Protection’ lineup and Cadillac’s brand-new Escalade.
Soon, Italian brand Lamborghini will be joining in, as it recently teased a picture of its “first 100% electric” supercar. In the lead-up to the Monterey Car Week in California, the luxury carmaker showed off a hidden silhouette of its first fully eco-offering. It previously revealed certain details about the highly-anticipated model.

Previously, the brand dipped its toe in the realm of environmentally-friendly cars with the Revuelto, a plug-in hybrid hypercar model that boasted a V-12 engine along with three electric motors.
This time, it aims to rely solely on electric energy, which could pose a significant change for an automaker that’s been associated with the roar and power of gas-powered engines for decades.
Could this be the turning a major turning point for electric vehicles going forward? Perhaps, especially if the likes of luxury brands are turning their attention toward batteries.
