Louis Vuitton Teases Fully 3D-Printed Sneaker Called The ‘LV Cobra’

Louis Vuitton appears to be stepping into the next dimension—no, not the metaverse this time around—with a new 3D-printed shoe called the LV Cobra. The footwear was showcased during the luxury house’s men’s Pre-Fall 2024 show in Hong Kong on Thursday.
Fully 3D-printed, the LV Cobra was developed in collaboration with 3D-printing footwear expert Zellerfeld, and showcases a blend of textures, as well as “Z FOAM technology.” It combines soft mesh with smoother finishes and incorporates practical air vents for increased breathability.
Enthusiasts will appreciate the LV Cobra’s nod to classic Louis Vuitton elegance, with the LV Monogram flower logo and new branding featured prominently.
Pharrell Williams, now at the helm as men’s creative director at the brand, was involved in this innovation.
Though not yet captured in official brand imagery, the shoe was previewed on Instagram by Louis Vuitton’s head of footwear design, Mathias Patillon.

While the buzz is building, the company has kept the lid tight on specific release dates and pricing for the LV Cobra, which is said to be available in white and black colorways. The release is anticipated sometime in 2024 through Louis Vuitton’s sales channels.
