PANTONE is kicking off 2024 with its Color of the Year. And speaking of kicks, so has its sneaker partner Cariuma, which has reimagined the hue, Peach Fuzz, across four new styles and men’s and women’s sizes.

The nurturing Color of the Year choice radiates warmth and calm, and is a nod to our collective yearning for tranquility and togetherness. This velvety peach shade symbolizes a space where one can find peace, heal, and flourish amid a fast-paced world.

Cariuma’s approach to all its sneakers is deeply rooted in eco-friendly practices. The NAIOCA, crafted from organic canvas and natural rubber, showcases a heritage silhouette with a modern twist.

This footwear uses responsibly sourced materials like ethically harvested natural rubber and heavy-duty organic cotton canvas.

The OCA Low, another highlight of the collection, comes in two inverted colorways, offering a versatile style that transitions from daytime adventures to evening escapades. Made with premium, environmentally conscious materials, this classic design ensures style without compromising the planet’s health.

Finally, Salvas, with its clean, classic lines, is an updated take on an old-school design, made with ethically sourced leather, natural rubber, and recycled materials for an everyday ethical option that doesn’t just look good but also feels good to wear.

The brand is known for its pledge to plant two trees for every pair of shoes sold, focusing on restoring the Atlantic forest biome, a crucial ecosystem for biodiversity. Moreover, it engages with indigenous communities in this restoration effort in a bid to support cultural preservation, too.
