Peach Fuzz strikes a delicate balance between vintage charm and contemporary elegance. Its subtly sensual nature makes it both poetic and romantic, infusing spaces with an understated, yet impactful, lightness. This peach hue, nestled comfortably between pink and orange, not only reflects a sense of nostalgia but is also said to adapt effortlessly into modern wardrobes and aesthetics, equally embraced in both men's and women's fashion.
The process of selecting the Color of the Year is a meticulous one for PANTONE. A year-long process, it involves a comprehensive analysis that spans fashion trends, interior design movements, notable moments in pop culture, and human psychology. Peach Fuzz has emerged as a color of modernity and nostalgia, increasingly finding its way into diverse facets of life and style.

Beginning with Cerulean Blue in 1999, the Color of the Year ritual has become a global cultural benchmark, reflecting and expressing the prevailing global mood and attitudes through color. Come 2024, it celebrates a quarter-century of influencing design and color trends.
“As we celebrate the 25th year of our PANTONE Color of the Year program and the fundamental role color plays in our shared human experience, it is our hope that we have inspired you to look at color in a different way—that color and its connection to emotion and the expression of human feelings will take on a new significance, causing your eye to linger a little longer throughout the day on the tints and tones that surround you, as history unfolds from moment to moment,” expresses Laurie Pressman, vice president of the PANTONE Color Institute.
“We look forward to continuing this for many more years to come,” Pressman adds.
As we step into 2024, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz stands as a symbol of warmth, tactility, and a shared human experience, inviting us to embrace a world filled with compassion, nurturing, and the gentle joy of togetherness.
