Louis Vuitton’s leadership has names like the late Virgil Abloh and Pharrell Williams under its belt, but it appears to support smaller creators too—truly.
This week, the luxury house enrolled a 13-year-old boy named Milan as an intern, all thanks to a tweet from his supportive mother. Her social media appeal, showcasing Milan’s sketches and tagging the luxury brand, has spun a heartwarming tale of dreams turning into reality.
Back in November, Milan’s mother took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her son's clothing sketches, emphasizing his deep affection for fashion and leather goods.

The creative shot in the dark caught the eye of Marie Gentric, a journalist with French news outlet BFMTV, who was moved by Milan’s dedication and artistic flair. Gentric not only interviewed the young fashion enthusiast but also amplified his story, urging Louis Vuitton to consider his work. Her call to action resonated, leading to an awe-inspiring outcome.

Louis Vuitton, recognizing Milan’s potential and passion, extended an offer for him to join as an intern.
Upon receiving the news, Milan expressed his awe and gratitude, describing the experience as “magical.” Gentric, reflecting the sentiment of many who’ve followed this uplifting story, responded, “You are the magic one, Milan.”
