Teardrop Camper Doubles As A Portable Charger So Your EV Will Always Be Powered
The great outdoors might not be the most friendly of environments for electric vehicles. When you’re miles out in the middle of the woods, ready to soak in nature for all that it is, there’s nothing worse than realizing you’re left stranded with no way to charge up your car.
Colorado Teardrops is giving all nature-loving EV owners the power to enjoy the outdoors while also protecting it thanks to its latest teardrop camper that doubles up as a portable charger.
The ‘Boulder’ can juice up your EV with its 75kWh battery so that you can head out as far as you need when camping. And with the added option to include solar panels, the adventure will never end… until you’re required back at the office, that is.
The Boulder is 12 foot long, and 17-foot and 27-foot options are in the works. It can fit a family of four with a queen-sized bed for two adults and bunk beds for two kids. It also comes with storage units, a tongue box, and a galley that can be turned into a mini kitchen.
If you’re looking to delve into nature on the back of your EV, the teardrop camper prices start at US$67,000.
