Google Is Opening A Haunted House In Tokyo, Japan For A Limited Time Only
By Yoon Sann Wong, 27 Aug 2018
With Halloween just around the corner, tech giant Google has set its sights on thrilling fans with a special haunted house—scheduled to open for just one week from 25 August to 2 September in Tokyo.
To get an entry pass for this free admission event, you’ll need to summon Google’s Assistant using its Android or iOS app and tell it, “Obakeyashiki ni Tsuretette.”
This will connect you with its virtual “ghost” character that will issue you the pass, a map, and inform you if there is a wait for entry into the haunted house.
According to local news site SoraNews24, the design of the haunted house could change by the day, meaning different visitors will leave with varied experiences.
As for the scare factor, don’t expect to be panic-stricken because Google’s “ghost” describes it as “the world’s cutest haunted house.”
Google Japan’s haunted house will be at the So-Cal Link Gallery. You can find the full address, opening hours, and map here.
