While Tesla’s building charging stations, Polestar is setting its sights on a different kind of charge—the sort you hold in your hand. The electric vehicle maker is revving up to launch its very own smartphone, the Polestar Phone.
With a look that screams Scandinavian cool, the Polestar Phone sports 2.2mm-thin bezels, a supersized display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a clean white aesthetic that echoes Polestar’s signature cars.

And while it’s preparing to plug into the smartphone arena, Polestar isn’t parking for long to compete with giants like Apple or Samsung. Rather, its true purpose is to demonstrate how it may fit into a connected ecosystem where your phone acts as an extension of your ride.

The Polestar Phone isn’t going solo on this journey. It's joining forces with Meizu, a smartphone brand under the wing of Geely, the Chinese automotive giant that also owns Volvo and Polestar. First announced last November, the model will gain an official unveiling set for April 23 in China.
