Universal Pictures Logo Gets A Majestic ‘Jurassic Park’ Face Lift
By Izza Sofia, 17 Sep 2019
The Jurassic World franchise has teased its upcoming movie with a new short film. The film titled Battle at Big Rock is filled with effects galore, but one feature that stands out is its new logo.
The Jurassic World movie is known for its iconic ‘T-Rex’ skeleton symbol, which has now merged with the Universal Pictures branding.
Universal Pictures’ emblem, which sees planet Earth spinning through space and being wrapped with the word “Universal,” has been given a little revamp with the replacement of Earth’s land and a planet-sized ‘T-Rex’.
In case you missed it in the beginning of the clip, director Colin Trevorrow has shared an image of the striking logo on Twitter, while thanking fans for the hype surrounding the upcoming movie.
The logo seems apt for the forthcoming film, as it centers around a family of four battling with these dinosaurs to stay alive. In the previous film, dinosaurs have taken over the planet and the family has to face them for “a terrifying fight for survival.”
Battle at Big Rock hits theaters 11 June 2021.
