It’s easy to get lost in the sea that is Donald Trump’s tweetstorms. Each day, the US president has a rant about something new, but what remains constant is his stance about climate change.
Amazon’s audiobook service Audible drew upon Trump’s convictions with a witty out-of-home advert joking that its platform has better “fiction” than what POTUS has to offer.
The brutal ad, spotted by copywriter Julia Graham at a bus stop, depicts an alert of a new social media post by “Mr President” that reads, “The idea of global warming was made up by China!”
Onlookers’ line of vision are then drawn to the poster’s tagline: “Leave the fiction to us.”
Considering that the president recently voiced his disagreement with young climate activist Greta Thunberg, the joke’s emergence is timely.
