Did Meghan Markle Sign A Deal With Disney Before Tying The Royal Knot?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry surprised the Royal family, media sources and fans after announcing their decision to step back from their senior roles last week.
The couple revealed that they were keen on being “financially independent” while working with the Queen. Many have wondered how the couple is planning to fund themselves, but The Times might have an idea as to how they are going to do so.
The Times reported that Markle had signed a deal with Disney to do a voiceover role before she married Prince Harry.
Although the couple could make significant earnings from such a role, Disney reportedly agreed to donate the funds to Elephant With Borders, a cause that helps protect these animals from being poached.
The publication said that the voiceover was recorded before the couple took a six-week break in Canada.
Though neither Markle nor Disney has confirmed the deal, this collaboration could indicate how the couple aims to use their status and platform to become financially independent and raise funds for causes they support.
This isn’t the first time such news of a voiceover has been circulating around. Back in July 2019, the pair attended the premiere of The Lion King, and Prince Harry was seen having a brief conversation with Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Then, Harry told Iger that Markle “does voiceovers,” to which Iger replied, “Oh, really?” Harry later gestured towards his spouse, and could be heard saying, “She’s really interested.” Iger replied the Duke of Sussex, “Sure, we’d love to try.”
