Who says flights are stressful only for humans? The Osaka International Airport (ITAMI) is giving canine travelers the treatment they deserve by opening Japan’s first airport bathroom for dogs.
The facility, which opened on Thursday, includes a swanky rest area, shower amenities, walking space and even a self-cleaning “pee pole” so good boys and girls can refresh themselves before flights.
A roof makes the space—located at the pickup and dropoff area of the airport—accessible no matter the weather.
Doggos and puppers can also rehydrate with fresh drinking water available in the facility.
The bathroom is open between 5.30am and 10pm daily. No more ruff flights.
