‘Parasite’ Director Bong Joon-Ho Names Directors To Watch For This Decade

Parasite nabbed a total of six awards, including Best Director and Best Picture, for the 92nd Academy Awards year. The movie made its mark in the Oscars as the first-ever non-English film to receive the Best Picture award in history.
The film’s director, Bong Joon-Ho, was recently invited as guest editor for the February 2020 issue of the Sight and Sound magazine, and offered some of his insights into filmmaking. He also curated a list of 20 directors to look out for in the next decade, which includes horror mavens like Jordan Peele, Jennifer Kent, Robert Eggers, and Ari Aster.
