Apple Turns Anime Snippets Into Charming Advert For Its MacBooks
Apple Japan has released a new ad featuring snippets from popular anime shows with MacBooks in their scenes.
Titled Behind the Mac, the video shows scenarios from notable anime including Your Name, Weathering With You, Mr. Osomatsu and The Wonderland, with Yoshiho Nakamura’s song I am Shujinko set in the background.
Though Apple’s famous partially-bitten logo was replaced with hearts or even pears to parody the brand, the laptops’ distinctive design and colors clearly referenced the MacBook, and Apple is proud of it.
The commercial promotes the use of Macs in creative industries, specifically in animation production, and how people can bring their stories to life via the brand’s creative features.
