If you’re feeling the cabin fever and need some musical therapy, you can catch the latest Coachella documentary, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert, which is now out for free on YouTube.

The documentary will explore the past two decades of Coachella’s history with both behind-the-scenes footage and the external world’s perspective of the illustrious music festival. The film was directed by Chris Perkel, an American filmmaker recognized for his music documentaries, and produced by YouTube Originals.

You can get an inside look into the creative direction behind Beyoncé’s sensational performance in 2018, Tupac’s hologram set in 2012, as well as Kanye West’s Sunday Service shows that dominated the festival in 2019.



The feature will include live snippets of musical performances and star-studded interviews, such as appearances from Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Madonna and Rage Against the Machine.

Although the festival was postponed this year due to the COVID-19 crisis, you can still get a glimpse of the festival virtually via the newly-released documentary. Watch it now below.
