You’re familiar with that one coworker who demands all the attention. Now that many people are working from home, they’ve discovered this character to live in the form of their cats. 14 News weatherman Jeff Lyons’ cat Betty is just like most household felines out there.
Betty the cat went viral after she walked into his broadcast to be picked up, and ended up becoming his co-presenter. It’s like the BBC Dad all over again.
Since then, Betty now holds the position of “Betty the weather cat,” and even has a banner to flaunt her new title. She also frequently appears on his forecast as he works from home.
Lyons shared on Facebook that he sometimes has to bribe the feline with food so that she agrees to co-present in front of their green screen.
“Why do I get the feeling I’m performing tricks for the cat instead of the other way around?” he pondered.
The grouchy weather cat will cheer up your day, come rain or shine.
