Australian grocery chain Kmart has recalled its line of children’s diaries based on Disney’s Frozen II after it was found to contain a list of sex toys and positions.
The gaffe was spotted by Queensland mother Toni Alamos, who bought the Frozen II Secret Diary Makeover Set for her daughter’s birthday. Alamos was baffled when she found out that the booklet contained a list of sex positions, locations, toys, including handcuffs and massagers.
She recorded the X-rated snafu and insisted that Kmart pull the product off its shelves.
A spokesperson for the retailer apologized for the error and told 7NEWS.com.au that the store was “extremely embarrassed.”
The representative assured that the stationery item “does not in any way reflect our views as a family business,” adding that the company was “thoroughly” investigating the matter with its supplier.
They hope the incident is an “isolated” one, “but have decided to withdraw this item from sale just to be sure.”
