Filmmaker David Lynch has released his 2015 short film Fire (Pozar) on YouTube for free.
The film was written, directed and animated by Lynch years ago and he is now officially releasing it digitally, as people continue to stay indoors during the coronavirus pandemic, per The Playlist.
On Monday, Lynch announced on Twitter that the film is now available on YouTube. “Dear Twitter Friends,” he wrote. “David Lynch Theater presents Fire (Pozar) on Wednesday, May 20th at 10 a.m. PDT,” he added.
Lynch has been posting weather reports on his YouTube channel to keep fans entertained at home. The director previously did these weather broadcasts on his website after the release of his iconic films, Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet, in the early 2000s.
