President Donald Trump sat down with his son Don Trump Jr. for a Father’s Day-themed interview as part of the president’s re-election campaign.
At one point, Don jokingly asked his father to divulge more information regarding Roswell, the New Mexico City known for a famous UFO (Unidentified flying objects) event in 1947.
“Let us know what’s really going on,” Don asked his dad about Roswell, to which the president replied, “I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting.”
Don continued to ask if his dad would declassify the information in the future and Trump responded with, “Well, I’ll have to think about that one.”
Last year, the Pentagon released three videos of possible UFO sightings. However, Trump had doubts about the footage. “People are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly,” Trump said.
In 1947, an unidentifiable debris was found outside of Roswell. Air Force officials claimed that it was a weather balloon pummeled on the ground. However, UFO theorists questioned the possibility of an extraterrestrial flying saucer being crashed at that area.
The US military addressed the debris years later, claiming it to be a part of a secretive atomic project. However, the UFO theory continued on.
President Trump was just asked about aliens and Roswell. "I won't talk to you about what I KNOW ABOUT IT. But it's very interesting." Wuhhh??? A lot more serious than I thought he'd be. #UFOs #Aliens 👽👽👀🛸 pic.twitter.com/gSzTGkfdo2
