Viagra Connect now recognizes that masculinity isn’t just about control and performance anymore. Its new animated film acknowledges the emotional side of modern bedroom matters in hopes of ending stigma surrounding erectile problems.
The compelling two-minute short, created by marketing and communications agency VMLY&R London for Viagra Connect UK, empathizes with men facing the growingly common issue of erectile problems, as work life and digital distractions eat into their daily schedules.
These modern-day influences are reflected in a love story, animated by creative production house Zombie Studio to a romantic rendition of The Proclaimers’ I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), about a couple whose sex life goes stagnant as technology and work concerns are brought into their bed.
After several nights of physical and emotional separation, they finally set their phones aside and intimately reunite.
Viagra Connect emphasizes in the spot, “Don’t let life get in the way of your love story.”
