Burberry enlisted its staff members to double as models and pose right outside of their homes in England for its Summer/Spring 2021 Pre-Collection campaign.
The luxury brand held fashion shoots outside of employees’ houses, while keeping in line of COVID-19 social distancing measures. The talent pool came from Burberry’s retail, copy, design, finance, and merchandising teams, among other departments.
In the newly-released shoot, Emily from the digital design team can be seen wearing a satin bomber jacket embossed with varsity appliqués, gold-plated hoop earrings, wool shorts, a quilted leather bag complete and wraparound sandals.
Massimo from the accessories design team posed in front his stairs, wearing a vibrant yellow check cashmere wool sweater, shorts and a pair of Arthur sneakers.
“I am so proud of this collection which not only reflects and celebrates the unique codes that make the house, but also the diversity of talent that represents our Burberry community, bringing the magic of the Burberry world to life,” the brand’s chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci said in a statement.
Similarly, Gucci also recruited its employees to model for its latest Resort Collection. The brand got its design team to showcase their own work for the new line.
