Instagram has just released four new fonts for its Stories feature, in addition to the original ‘Modern’, ‘Classic’, ‘Neon’, ‘Strong’, and ‘Typewriter’.
The social media platform announced in April that it was testing out the new fonts with a “small percentage of people” before making sure they would be ready for all users.
The four new fonts, which are yet to be named, will be available to Instagram users in the coming weeks. To try them out, you will have to first update your app.
After which, launch the Instagram app and swipe to your Story section. Tap on “Create” at the bottom of your screen and type out some words using the text format.
You can then look out for the new typefaces by scrolling through the font options at the bottom. The new choices include a new serif font, a stencil-like font, as well as one that resembles Comic Sans.
