In February this year, the 104-year-old Mr. Peanut tragically lost his life, but a new light of hope was born soon after. And it was
Baby Nut.
Within seven months, Baby Nut has turned into Peanut Jr. and is commemorating his 21st birthday at a bar. “I’m officially 21, my friends! Before you ask, yes, I was just a baby. What can I say? It’s been a nutty year. Now someone gets this peanut a beer,” the mascot explained through Twitter.
The legume wants to celebrate his birthday with those who have had their birthdays in quarantine with US$2,100 in cash through a giveaway, which will be delivered to their doorsteps by the iconic Nutmobile.
To apply, people who had their birthdays during this period are invited to share their dream gifts in 10 words or less on Twitter, along with the hashtags “#MakeMyBirthdayNuts” and “#Sweepstakes,” from 11 to 24 August.
