Popeyes Is Already Celebrating New Year 2021 At Times Square—Who Can Blame It?

Popeyes has started to count down to 2021, having set up a massive display at Times Square on the anniversary of the now-iconic chicken sandwich.
The company took up the screens at Times Square in New York City to count the days till the new year, as 2020 has been a tumultuous year for everyone.
The setup includes the digital clock as well as the message, “Is there another 135 days of the endless 2020? At least we still have The Sandwich.”
The campaign, devised by ad agency GUT, reassures customers that there is, at least, Popeyes’ chicken sandwich as a form of comfort during these trying times. Onlookers have also been promised free delivery via Popeyes’ app in conjunction with the new campaign.
