Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have announced the birth of their first child, Daisy Dove Bloom.

The couple revealed the joyous news in a statement to UNICEF. “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the couple stated.

They also shared a sweet black-and-white photo of them holding their newborn daughter’s tiny hand. The singer also paid homage to her baby daughter with an adorable white daisy printed on her thumbnail.

In the statement to UNICEF, they revealed that although they are happily celebrating the birth of their child, “We know we are the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was.”



Many fans and celebrities congratulated the couple, including Millie Bobby Brown and Justin Theroux. “Congratulations so happy for you guys,” Brown commented, while Theroux said, “Daisy, Welcome!”
