Chadwick Boseman Tweet Becomes Twitter’s ‘Most Liked’ Post Ever

The final tweet from the late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman’s account has become the most-liked post on Twitter.
The post, which announced the actor’s demise along with a photo of the actor, has received over seven million likes. It includes a statement from his family revealing that Boseman had been in critical condition since 2016.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much… all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy,” his surviving members shared.
“It was the honor of his career to bring King T-Challa to life in Black Panther.”
The social media network has confirmed that the late actor’s last post is the “most liked tweet ever.”
Boseman’s tweet surpassed former president Barack Obama’s post from August 2017. The social network has also confirmed that the late actor’s last post is the “most liked tweet ever.”
Twitter responded, “A tribute fit for a King.”
Boseman died of colon cancer on 28 August at the age of 43 after a four-year fight with the disease.
