Warner Bros. has confirmed that shooting for The Batman in the UK has been halted temporarily after hearing of one case of COVID-19 within the crew.
As Deadline reports, production for the film had just resumed three days ago after a six-month delay due to the pandemic. However, it had to be shut down again after a member from the team tested positive for the coronavirus.
“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused,” the studio’s statement read.
The member in question has allegedly been identified to be Robert Pattinson, who plays Bruce Wayne, in a report by Vanity Fair. The magazine purported that the 34-year-old caught the virus after filming resumed in London.
