YouTube’s Famous ‘Lo-Fi Study Girl’ Gets Redrawn Based On Different Countries

If you’ve been browsing YouTube for a while now, you might have stumbled across videos with lo-fi hip-hop beats to relax or study to. The videos often feature an animated character, created by artist Juan Pablo Machado, studying with headphones on.
YouTube channel ChilledCow has been releasing live stream videos of lo-fi hip hop beats for many to use as a form of relaxation and companionship to study or get work done. These videos are plastered with the animated girl, who soon became the brand for this type of video.
Unfortunately, YouTube had terminated the account in a mistaken suspension, forcing the channel to lose its videos, including one with a duration of over 13,000 hours.
YouTube eventually unbanned the account, and the channel has uploaded a new stream featuring the animated girl studying with calm music.
In celebration of the return, many decided to redesign the girl as if she were a student from various parts of the world. Check out some of reimaginations below, and view more here.
