There are two types of weirdos in the world: those who will only mask up when pigs fly, and those who will only do so if the masks smell like pigs, fried.
Hormel Foods, maker of Black Label Bacon, is pandering to the latter camp and all meat lovers with ‘Breathable Bacon’ face masks—which, as their name suggests, are bacon-scented protective face coverings.
While brunch tends to leave a hole in your wallet, these no-calorie, COVID-19-fighting substitutes happen to be free. Hormel Foods is giving away limited Breathable Bacon masks from 28 October through 4 November in an online raffle. But more importantly, the brand will donate one meal to Feeding America with each entry, or up to 10,000 meals.
The mask is described by the company as a “bacon-scented, irresistibly breathable two-ply multi-fiber smellicious innovation for your face” that is also “calorie-, carb-, sodium- and fat-free.”
