The popular Yomiuriland amusement park in Japan is letting visitors work remotely from individual cabins of a Ferris wheel.
Yomiuriland has been focusing on Japanese industries way before the coronavirus pandemic with its four ‘Good Job Attractions’ featuring a car factory, a food factory, a fashion factory and a stationery factory.
Now, the theme park has launched a new initiative to boost the office economy. The cabins in the Ferris wheel are all equipped with Wi-Fi so workers can enjoy a socially-distant “workation.”
If they’re afraid of heights, visitors can also opt to work from an outdoor lounge at the swimming pool. They will also have free access to the driving range, where they can play golf after working hours.
Tickets are priced at ¥1,900 (US $18) for each employee. Check out the theme park below.
