It’s not easy for everyday users to visualize a tech product’s specs, so Apple decided to personify performance with human caricatures for its beloved Mac VS PC campaign. For its recent One More Thing event, the company brought back the fumbling John Hodgman character to portray Windows PCs.
Apple unveiled the Apple M1 chip, along with a new MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini on Tuesday. It maintained its professionalism throughout the event, but humorously threw in a bit by the clumsy character at the very end to present “one more thing.”
The ‘PC’ attempted to debunk Apple’s entire unveiling by proving his speed and battery life. “I still got it,” he declared. “Always been there, I always will be… fast.”
John Hodgman, now exhausted and panting, admitted that his battery had drained and that he had to step out to recharge.
Watch the witty act at the 45:28 mark.
