IKEA’s assembly instruction sheets have served as an inspiration for advertising agency Ogilvy in its latest green initiative.

Instead of announcing promotions for Black Friday, the Swedish flatpack giant draws attention to its sustainable initiatives. The Green Guides appear in the form of its famous instruction sheets and feature sustainable products compatible with its eco-friendly goals.

These guides include a chair made up of renewable wood and recycled plastics, reusable containers to take advantage of food scraps, and LED Christmas lights to save energy.

The campaign will be showcased across IKEA’s social channels in the US and shared by influencers.
